F: PROMOTES FUN
There's no fear of getting hit, which means the kids learn the game more readily. Without the fear of impact, they are able to understand the game. And, they can have fun!
L: PROMOTES LEARNING
In flag football, players are not weighed down by equipment. There is no contact, which means the game is based on athleticism. As your child gets older (and more comfortable), they can apply what they’ve learned in flag football to tackle football.
A: POSITIVE ATTITUDES
Flag football teaches responsibility, leadership, and the importance of teamwork. Each position has a purpose. Each individual needs to fulfill their responsibility. When they work together, everyone succeeds - a skillset that’s valuable both on and off the field.
G: PROMOTES GROWTH
Running, jumping, practice and defensive techniques help children grow physically. Strength, stamina and speed increase. But that's not the only thing. Sports are a great platform to grow mentally. Flag football teaches children how to deal with pressure, lose and other situations they might not normally deal with.
